...as I usually do, how incredibly, brilliantly, heart-breakingly good "Farscape" is. BB and I finally reached the S3 finale, "Dog With Two Bones" and it left me in tears. When people ask me about good skiffy, I'll immediately answer "Battlestar Galactica" and follow that up with "Doctor Who" and its relatives. Each of those exhibits, to one extent or another, some aspect of what I love about skiffy; the speculative, the fantastical, the mythmaking; the joy, the terror, the glee of discovery.
But it seems to me that in Farscape, all of it comes together in such a crazy, glittering, near-disastrous jeweled jumble of acting, plotting, writing, music, color, world-building, character-birthing creation that it is impossible for me to even think of anything like it, or better than it.
